    He who holds a PhD in Quantum Radiophysics, has 44 years of experience in the fields of experimental physics, design of optical systems and optical coatings. He is the author of 46 publications in refereed journals, and possesses strong skills in different Physical Vapor Deposition techniques.

    EDUCATION

    1974-1980 high education in Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT), specialized in quantum radio-physics, optics and spectroscopy

    1980 - MSc from MIPT. “Optically pumped Bi2 and Na2 lasers”

    1988 – PhD in physics. “The studies of collisional broadening and shift of spectral lines by Faraday rotation spectroscopy”.

    SCIENTIFIC CAREER

    1982-1992 – P.N. Lebedev Physical Institute of the Academy of Sciences, Moscow, scientist.

    1992-1996 – Guest scientist at Max-Plank Institute of Quantum Optics, Munich with Prof. T.W. Haensch. Project: «Implantation of paramagnetic atoms in solid Helium matrices for the test of Time reversal invariance».

    1997-1998 – Invited scientist at University of Bonn (co. Prof. Dieter Meschede) Project: «Studies of magneto-optical effects in atomic vapors».

    1998-2019 – senior scientist at P.N. Lebedev Physical Institute of Russian Academy of Sciences (Moscow).

    Project: “Thulium laser frequency standard”.

    2020-present – Process engineer at the Institute of Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials, Bar Ilan University, Ramat Gan, Israel
